162 jewelry collections of Ming Dynasty exhibited in Changsha Jiandu Museum

On December 22, 162 exquisite jewelry collections of the Ming Dynasty from Jiangxi Provincial Museum were exhibited at Changsha Jiandu Museum. The jewelry, in unique shapes, is made with various techniques like hammering, welding, carving, and filigreeing. The audience can immerse themselves in the treasures of ranis in the Ming Dynasty.



As a cultural feast of Changsha Jiandu Museum for the Chinese New Year in 2024, this exhibition will be open to the public for free until March 31, 2024.



The exhibition, including 7 sets of first-level cultural relics, 40 sets of second-level cultural relics, and 73 sets of third-level cultural relics, consists of three parts to introduce the headwear, body ornaments, and clothing accessories of nobles of the Ming Dynasty, showcasing the gorgeous aesthetic styles and exquisite craftsmanship of the Ming Dynasty.



Through fine jewelry that symbolizes auspiciousness, the exhibition sends blessings to the audience for a happy and prosperous New Year.
