Jiuyi Mountain Village Chef Competition kicks off

Ningyuan County has more than 100 varieties of local specialty snacks, including Ningyuan blood duck, stuffed tofu, and Zhuangyuan meatballs, long enjoying a good reputation.
The chefs of each team chose ingredients, made a dish with local characteristics on the site within an hour, and explained its specific recipes and origins. Then, the dish was evaluated by guest judges and public judges.
The chefs were skilled in action. Soon, a dish of Ningyuan blood duck was served on the table. A Yunnan tourist was full of praise after tasting it.
During the May Day holiday, a series of cultural and tourism activities such as the Village Chef Competition and Baba Festival were held in Ningyuan County, attracting tourists to experience the local unique culture, helping the Jiuyi Mountain Tourist Area develop into a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
