The second Cili Wooden-bench Dragon Dance Art Festival opened on the evening of March 16. A giant dragon as long as hundreds of meters was paraded through the streets, consisting of numerous dragon lanterns placed on long wooden benches lifted by men.



The Wooden-bench Dragon Dance has been passed down in Cili County for over a century. It is a folk art that combines traditional dance, art, sports, and folk customs. In May 2021, it was included in the list of the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects.
