Medicinal materials increase villagers’ income

Yao medicinal bath is a traditional cultural custom in which Yao people bath themselves in water boiled with medicinal plant materials to treat diseases and keep healthy. It has been included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage items.
In recent years, relying on the abundant ecological resources, Lanshan County has made efforts to develop the medicinal material planting and processing industry to help villagers to increase their income.
