Li Zhimin (July 9, 1906—November 16, 1987), born in Liuyang, Hunan Province, was one of the founding generals of the People’s Republic of China.
The Former Residence of Li Zhimin is located in Tangtou, Zhimin Village, Gaoping Town, Liuyang City, Changsha City.
Built in the late Qing Dynasty, it is an ordinary residential houses with brick-wood structure, grey tiles and three houses, covering an area of 150 square meters. The residence was included in the fifth batch of provincial patriotism education bases in March, 2020.
