Village sees boom in Red tourism during Spring Festival holiday

In the past few days, the Site of Xiangnan Uprising, Xiaoke’s former residence, has been growing in popularity, with many tourists coming to visit it.
“ I came with my friends to visit Xiaoke’s former residence. Besides being inspired by the revoluntionary history, we were amazed by the pleasant scenery of this village,” said a tourist from Lanshan County.
At the end of 2022, the wide asphalt road was newly built in the town area of Yuanjia Township. Soon after that, asphalt roads were also built in the village. The roads connect the village and the town, becoming the arteries of red tourism and rural economic development. The construction of asphalt roads not only allows villagers’ agricultural products to go out and tourists to pour in, but also enhances the initiative of villagers to participate in environmental governance. The villagers keep poultry in captivity, and the roads clean and smooth, jointly guarding the hygienic environment of the village.

In front of the shop diagonally opposite the Xiaoke’s former residence, Mr. Xiao, who sells snacks, told the reporter with a smile that thanks to the increasing popularity of the scenic spot, coupled with the sunny weather and convenient transportation, more and more tourists are coming, and the daily sales amounted to about 2,000 yuan.
