First ‘Jinggangshan-Shaoshan’ Red Special Train arrives in Shaoshan

The Red Special Train aims to accelerate the construction of regional cooperation demonstration zones in the Hunan-Jiangxi border area and promote coordinated development between urban and rural areas.
On June 18, 2021, the “Shaoshan-Jinggangshan” Red Special Train was launched. In July of that year, Xiangtan City incorporated the scenic spots along the special Red education route into the sites for Party education and building, and carried out activities to inherit Red genes by the special train.
As of April 18 this year, the “Shaoshan-Jinggangshan” Red special train service had recorded 19 trips. More than 7,000 Party members, cadres and students from Xiangtan have taken the train to participate in Red study activities.
This year, with the efforts of relevant provincial and municipal departments, tourists from Jiangxi and Hunan can take the Red Special Train to visit the scenic spots along the route.
