Mascot, logo of first Hunan Tourism Development Conference released

The mascots are Shan Wawa and Ni Baobao, which represent the unique mountains and giant salamander of Zhangjiajie.
Its logo is designed with the theme of Wonderland Zhangjiajie.
The slogan is “Wonderland Zhangjiajie Wows the World with Unique Peaks”.
Zhangjiajie is famous for Zhangjiajie Landform, as well as abundant and unique tourism resources with great ecological environment, international tourism, influence and communication of tourism brands, and prospects for all-for-one tourism development. All these are the Zhangjiajie elements concerned by designers and creators.

The mascot “Shan Wawa” is most striking for the peak shape on its legs and the Chinese character “山” (shān, mountain) on its head. It wears a hat with a unique Tujia pattern on its brim. Its big eyes and its small smiling mouth make it looks rather smart and cute.
Overall, it is tough, honest, lovely and enthusiastic; steady as a mountain while having a lively personality.

The mascot “Ni Baobao” is designed based on the giant salamander, a national second-class protected animal in Zhangjiajie. It has a cute face and big eyes full of curiosity. The Tujia brocade scarf on its neck is hand-made.
The two cute mascots wave their hands together to send sincere invitations to the world, welcoming them to visit wonderland Zhangjiajie.

Zhangjiajie tourism logo takes the “wonderland Zhangjiajie” as its design theme, and the most iconic scenic spot in Zhangjiajie – Yubi (Imperial Brush) Peak of Tianzi mountain—as its design prototype. The three peaks in the middle imply that Zhangjiajie boasts three thousand peculiar peaks; the four peaks on the left imply two districts and two counties in Zhangjiajie to work together and seek common development; the rising cloud implies the auspicious landscape of Zhangjiajie.
Zhangjiajie released a call for tourism image slogans on May 16. It finally determined “Wonderland Zhangjiajie Wows the World with Unique Peaks” as the new slogan after multiple reviews.
