Hunan promotes cultural tourism in Singapore

Li Aiwu, director of the local culture and tourism department of Hunan Province, said that Hunan, a province with some of the richest tourism resources in China, boasts stunning natural beauty and abundant cultural heritage, as well as colorful folk customs. The “five calling cards” involved natural beauty, Red or revolutionary tradition, urban leisure life, history and farming culture present an ecological and cultural picture with Hunan characteristics.
At the promotion meeting, Li Aiwu warmly invited domestic and foreign tourists to visit Hunan and appreciate the charm of Hunan’s natural scenery and culture.
Li Aiwu stated that Hunan will promote the high-quality development of the cultural and tourism industry from three major aspects.
The first is to continuously promote the innovation and upgrading of tourist attractions, promote the transformation of traditional tourism into smart tourism, and provide tourists with better and more satisfactory tourism experiences.
The second is to promote integrated development of tourism, agriculture, industry, and technology by cultivating and developing new formats such as cultural and creative industries, digital culture industries, and animation games, providing tourists with updated, more, and richer tourism products.
The third is to actively cultivate new formats and content, focusing on new models of cultural and tourism integration such as product resources, food tourism, and cross-border marketing, promoting the integrated development of culture, tourism, and related industries, and injecting new momentum into Hunan’s efforts to be a world tourism destination.
