First physical language resources museum to settle in Hunan Museum

The museum is a major landmark achievement of the China language resources protection project, which serves as an exhibition center of fine Chinese language culture, an important research base of fine Chinese language culture, a high-quality language culture public service platform and a fully interactive wisdom museum.
The museum will be characterized by a physical museum, and rationally use advanced scientific and technological means in the era of digital intelligence to explore a new curatorial path of immersive, integrated, and experience exhibitions, so as to provide the public with an immersive and interactive experience, and enable fine Chinese language culture to be passed down from generation to generation.
In September 2018, the first International Conference “Role of Linguistic Diversity in Building a Global Community with Shared Future” was successfully held in Changsha City, Hunan Province, providing solutions, wisdom and experience of China for “the protection and promotion of linguistic cultural diversity”, and setting up a platform for in-depth cooperation between China and UNESCO and other international organizations.
On the basis of the existing achievements of the China language resources protection project and the existing resources of Hunan Museum, the relevant departments will actively mobilize all sectors of society to participate in the construction of the museum, and strive to build a language museum with Chinese characteristics, showing the construction and development of China’s language resources, contributing to the inheritance and development of fine Chinese language culture, the promotion of cultural prosperity, and the construction of a strong cultural country.
