Scenic Spot 1 Songshan Natural Village in Meitianhu Village
Songshan Natural Village is located at the southern foot of the Lianyun Mountains, adjacent to Dawei Mountain National Forest Park to the east. It’s a national standardized demonstration village for beautiful countryside, a national ecological cultural village, and a provincial key village for rural tourism.
With abundant tourism resources, it’s home to such tourist attractions as Meitianhu Study and Practice Base, Ziyangwan Immigration Cooperation Area and Zhou Guoyu Memorial Hall.
Meitianhu Village integrated over 500 mu (about 33.33 hectares) of farmland to create a study and practice education base on the theme of farming culture, with the operation model of village plus company plus farmer. The base integrates study activities with culture, tourism and agriculture, promoting rural revitalization through tourism.
Scenic Spot 2 Nanbian Eco Farm
Nanbian Eco Farm is located in a narrow valley with abundant vegetation resources and beautiful natural environment. It is known as a natural oxygen bar.
The farm was founded in 2012 and focuses on promoting the coordinated development of ecological breeding, planting and tourism.
It develops ecological farms and high-quality homestay inns. The farm takes Liuyang black goat as its theme, combining breeding, sightseeing, interaction, study, food and other functions to promote Liuyang black goat culture.
Here, you can enjoy the vibrant rural life and farming culture, and appreciate the beautiful scenery and rural scenes.
Scenic Spot 3 Jiayuan Holiday Resort
Jiayuan Holiday Resort covers an area of over 360 mu (24 hectares), with a thousand-year-old Guandu Ancient Town, surrounded by Liuyang River and Dawei Mountain.
It boasts picturesque scenery, simple and unique customs of the local Hakka people and Red scenic spots. The resort adheres to the development concept of original ecology, natural beauty and ecological wellness.

Scenic Spot 1 Zhuangyuan Farming-reading Park
Xiaguan Village is located between Guanxi and Xijiang rivers, adjacent to Jiuyi Mountain and 15 kilometers away from the county seat. It’s renowned as a millennium village, a village with tens of thousands of people, the first village in the regions south of the Yangtze River, and the hometown of the Number One Scholar.
It boasts rich natural and cultural resources. The village has Guanxi eight views, including Guilin evening mist, Dongshan jade shoots and Bangshan spring rain.
In history, it gave birth to multiple Number One Scholars, ranking first among all counties in Hubei and Hunan provinces.
In the Zhuangyuan Farming-reading Park, and tourists can experience slow rural life in a peaceful homestay inn environment through study tour and farming activities.
Scenic Spot 2 Dafeng Village Color Tribe
Dafeng Village is located in the core area of Guanxi Fairyland Scenic Area in Wanjing Town, Ningyuan County, and the middle of Jiuyi Mountain’s Ten-mile Landscape Gallery. It’s a provincial demonstration village for beautiful countryside, with picturesque scenery.
At the entrance of Dafeng Village Color Tribe, there are two large straw artworks—“A Shepherd Boy Riding a Cow” and “A Big Wild Boar”. The buildings in the village have different colorful murals, making it a good place for photography and leisure. The Dafeng Village Color Tribe is surrounded by fields.
The village has introduced outdoor rock climbing facilities that integrate multiple functions such as fitness and exercise, sports events, outdoor expansion, and sightseeing tourism, enriching the tourist experience.
Tourists can work with villagers in the fields, experiencing the farming-reading culture.
Scenic Spot 3 Jiuyi Mountain Emperor Shun’s Mausoleum Scenic Area
Jiuyi Mountain Emperor Shun’s Mausoleum Scenic Area is a national 4A level scenic area, a national scenic spot, a national civilized scenic area, a demonstration area for creating well-known national brands, and one of the “New Eight Scenic Spots of Hunan” in Hunan Province.
The scenic area is rich in natural resources, with 104 species of wild animals and 596 tree species, making it “a natural zoon and botanical garden”.
With a forest coverage rate of 86% and a negative oxygen ion content of 48,000 per cubic centimeter in the air, it is truly a “forest oxygen bar”. It boasts rich historical and cultural landscapes, including Emperor Shun’s Mausoleum, Shunyuan Peak and Yongfu Temple, Jiulong Column, Mao Zedong Poetry Stele and a sacrificial wall.
Scenic Spot 4 Tangquan Farm
Tangquan Farm is located in Shanhe Village, Jiuyishan Yao Ethnic Township, Ningyuan County. It is a four-star leisure farm in Hunan Province that integrates catering and accommodation, agricultural sightseeing, Red tourism, and labor practice.
Tangquan Farm is a resting place for the Eighth Corps of the Red Army and the representative of the CPC Central Committee Liu Shaoqi. It is the final battlefield for the remaining 34th Division of the Red Army.
The farm has a Red Culture Exhibition Hall, a Red Memory Hall, an experiential area to retrace the Long March route, a rural life experience park, a catering and accommodation area, a wilderness expansion training area, an ecological resort, and eleven independent two-story Nordic style homestay inns, showcasing the glorious achievements of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Liu Shaoqi on their journey.
In addition, it tells the classic stories of the Chinese Workers and Peasants’ Red Army passing by and fighting fiercely in Ningyuan. The farm has become a well-known Red education destination and a boutique Red tourism station.
