Hunan Cultural Center in Changsha City
The 2024 Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Lantern Festival will be held in Hunan Cultural Center between February 23 and 24.
It includes six parts, namely the ICH bazar, ICH performances, the lantern show, gifts presenting, entertainment projects and literati gathering.
60 ICH representative items will be displayed, involving traditional skills, Chinese folk music, and traditional fine arts. Visitors have a chance to savor a bowl of Leicha (grinding tea), sample Zhijiang pickled radish, and try their hands at making dough figurines.
Changsha Riverside Cultural Park
A series of themed activities will be held at Changsha Riverside Cultural Park to celebrate the Lantern Festival on February 24. Free balls of glutinous rice flour will be offered to citizens and tourists. A lantern riddle guessing activity will be held, and tourists who guess riddles correctly have the opportunity to get exquisite gifts.
In addition, a folk music concert will be held in Changsha Concert Hall to welcome the festival.
Those who guess lantern riddles correctly will get fabulous gifts such as stationery, daily necessities and cultural and creative products in Changsha Library.
Changsha Mass Art Museum
A lantern festival celebration will be held by Changsha Mass Art Museum and multiple local communities from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. on February 24. The celebration includes making glutinous rice balls, adding eyes to a dragon, poetry puzzles, lantern riddles guessing and other wonderful activities. Citizens and tourists participating in the activities have the chance to obtain exquisite gifts like lanterns, key rings and canvas bags.
Changsha Window of the World
Going lantern parties is an important activity in Lantern Festival. Eight lantern arrays like the koi lantern array and the poetry lantern array are set up, and there are special views and activities such as a 100-meter-long lantern riddle corridor and a prayer ceremony, creating a lively festive atmosphere for visitors.
The “Nine Dragons Gathering Temple Fair” in the scenic area will be available until February 25, and more than 20 night light amusement projects are open to the public.

Colorful activities like the auspicious beast parade, the fireworks show and the temple fair will be held between 9:30 and 21:00 of February 24 at Changsha Fangtawild Oriental Heritage.

The 2024 Changsha Tongguan Kiln China-chic Lantern Show consists of six parts and will last until February 25, bringing tourists a colorful visual feast.
In addition, on the day of Lantern Festival, there will be wonderful activities in the scenic spot, such as themed performances, New Year customs experience, and a fireworks show.
Liuyang Sky Theater
Liuyang Lantern Festival Music Fireworks Party will be held at the Sky Theater on February 24, with four chapters. Tourists can purchase tickets through the “Fireworks Cloud” Wechat mini program for 1 yuan in advance.

A Lantern Festival parade and an intangible cultural heritage dragon dance competition will be held in Mount Heng of Hengyang City from February 23 to 24. There are also exciting programs such as singing, dancing and the molten iron fireworks show.

Chenzhou Changjuan ICH Block
