Changsha County has one China’s most beautiful rural road

The whole line has a total length of about 15.38 kilometers, starting from the interaction of X024 Qingshanpu and G107 lines, and ending at the interface between X144 and Kaihui connecting lines.
The line is an important longitudinal connecting line of Changsha County. Now, the line has been expanded to a second-class highway, with a pavement width of 8.5 meters and a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour.
The special line connects Kaihui, Fulin and Qingshanpu towns, as well as such Red attractions as Tianhua Survey Site, former residence of Chen Shuxiang and hometown of Yang Kaihui.
The special line has effectively improved the transportation environment of Qingshanpu, Fulin, and Kaihui towns, and enhanced the traffic capacity of the main road network in the northern part of the county.
At the same time, it also provides strong transportation support for the coordinated development of tourist attractions such as Tianhua Mountain Scenic Area, Yingzhu Mountain, and Kaihui Memorial Hall, the comprehensive implementation of rural revitalization strategy, and the construction of “Red Tourism Town”.
In recent years, the county government has worked to promote the construction of industries, tourism and resources in rural areas. Through the implementation of projects pertaining to quality improvement, ecological road construction, road connectivity and life protection, the Red scenic spots, natural attractions and industrial demonstration sites in the county have been gathered to promote the deep integration and development of rural roads with all-for-one tourism, modern agriculture and beautiful countryside. And the market-oriented reform of rural road management and maintenance system has been improved.

In the past three years, 610 kilometers of rural roads have been upgraded in the county, 32 tourist roads, resource roads and industrial roads have been built, and 14 roads connecting new villages and merged villages have been smoothed.
From 2018 to 2023, the county has won the title of “Four Good Rural Roads” national demonstration county for six consecutive years.
