2024 Hunan (Summer) Rural Cultural Tourism Festival to kick off

The festival aims to showcase the development achievements of rural tourism in Changning City by exploring rich cultural and tourism resources, carry forward excellent traditional culture, create an industrial exchange event for high-quality development, and promote the exchanges and cooperation of the rural cultural tourism industry.
There will be two theme activities, including the opening ceremony and the promotion conference of typical cases of rural tourism empowering rural revitalization. The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held on the evening of July 22 at the Yinshan Scenic Area.
The demonstration activity will present the fun of farming activities by introducing Changning’s specialty food, intangible cultural heritage and famous rural scenic spots.
Besides, five series of activities will also be launched. The familiarization activity of Changning’s two boutique tourism routes will be held, namely, Shuikoushan Workers’ Movement Memorial Hall - Zhongtian Ancient Residences - Yinshan Cultural Tourism Area (Caishen Cave Scenic Area) and Tashan Grand Canyon - Xijiang Rafting.
The food tasting activity and Go invitational tournament will also kick off. And then, there will be a rural music concert, with traditional ethnic instrumental musicians to be invited to perform at the Zhongtian Ancient Residences. In addition, the Changning Wood-block Print Exhibition will be launched, with 110 fine art works involving prints, paper cuttings and cartoons displayed.
