As the main venue for the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hunan Tourism Development Conference, the Linghu Park is the largest comprehensive park in Hengyang City in terms of water area. At present, construction workers are setting up the stage for the opening ceremony. At the same time, the music fountain in the park is also under debugging. When night falls, the light and music will make the night view of Hengyang even more brilliant.
The Pinghu Park, the largest open fitness and leisure park in Hengyang, has also undergone changes. Since early June this year, the High-tech Zone has upgraded the track and field court, basketball court, central square, table tennis court, fitness area, observation platform, multi-functional rooms, lakeside boardwalk, and pavilions and corridors in the park to better meet the daily fitness and leisure needs of citizens. Pinghu Park was opened to the public on September 1.
The 88-meter “Eye of the First Peak” ferris wheel, a new cultural and tourism landmark of Hengyang, will be open to the public before the third Hunan Tourism Development Conference, allowing tourists to admire the beautiful scenery of the entire Hengyang from high above.
In addition, the Zhangjiashan Anti-Japanese War Site Park and West Hengyang Station are also being renovated, which will rejuvenate the urban landscape of Hengyang and inject new vitality to Hengyang’s cultural and tourism industry.
