Hunan has two world famous tourism mountains

Mount Heng is one of the Five Famous Mountains in China, with its main peak Zhurong Peak located in Nanyue District of Hengyang City.
It has beautiful natural scenery, with towering peaks, flowing springs, and plunging waterfalls. There are flowers in spring, a sea of clouds in summer, sunrise in autumn, and snowy scenery in winter. Zhurong Peak, Buddhist Scripture Hall, Fangguang Temple, and Shuilian Cave have been praised as the “Four Wonders” of Nanyue since ancient times.
Mangshan Mountain covers a total area of 33.4 square kilometers, with a forest coverage rate of 99.6%. It has a mild climate, abundant rainfall, and dense forest vegetation.
As the first barrier-free mountain tourist attraction in China, Mangshan Mountain Wuzhifeng Scenic Area has continued efforts to promote the deep integration of accessible facilities with its natural environment. Such facilities as cableways, escalators and sightseeing elevators on the cliff are available at altitudes of 1,400 to 1,600 meters, allowing tourists to enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the scenery on the mountaintop with ease.
