Orange Isle Tourism Wharf route wins national honor

The Orange Isle Tourism Wharf route passes through characteristic attractions of Changsha City, such as Mao Zedong’s Sculpture on the Orange Isle, Dufu Pavilion, Orange Isle Bridge, Fengfan Square, and Fisherman’s Wharf.
Since being selected as a pilot for high-quality domestic waterway tourism passenger transport routes in October 2022, this route has highlighted the historical and culture, Red heritage, natural landscapes, and modern city, and launched diversified themed boats such as Red Tour, Night Tour on Xiangjiang River, and Tour around Orange Isle, to improve the quality of services.
At present, this route has become a popular destination in Changsha City.
“Since 2022, the annual number of passengers received by this route has increased by 259,000, and the economic output value has increased by 26.3762 million yuan, with the service quality and reputation significantly enhanced,” said the head of Changsha Municipal Water Transport Affairs Center.
