Yiyang has three new National 4A Scenic Areas

Zijin Bay Happy Kingdom is situated in Taohuajiang Town, Taojiang County. There are many bamboos in the scenic area, which is composed of four major areas: the water park, the dream amusement park, the Internet-famous Mushroom Street and the ice and snow venue. It has a variety of tourism functions such as sightseeing, themed vacation, amusement experience and cultural experience. It meets the diversified and interactive experience needs of tourists in an all-round way, and has become a new tourism mark of Yiyang.
Meishan Culture Park is located in Xianxi Town of Anhua County, in a W-shaped canyon at an altitude of 718 meters. The park aims at carrying forward the ancient and mysterious Meishan culture. Now, such scenic spots reflecting regional cultural characteristics have been built here as stilted buildings, Wusheng Gate, the Wind and Rain Bridge, Meishan Culture Museum and the ancient stage. It is a scenic area integrating historical culture, ecological tourism, ecological agriculture and leisure villages.
The Ecological Culture Experience Park of Tea and Flowers lies in Dongping Town, Anhua County. The scenic area boasts an art sightseeing tea garden of more than 600 mu (40 hectares), an art garden of over 600 mu (40 hectares) of, an orchard covering 100 mu (about 6.67 hectares), etc. It is not only the most beautiful tea town integrating tourism, entertainment, wellness and vacation, but also a rural revitalization project to boost industrial prosperity, people’s wealth and ecological beauty.
Since 2022, Yiyang has comprehensively promoted the upgrade of cultural and tourism products, constantly improved the core competitiveness of the product market, helped consolidate the industry foundation of “cultural, tourism, sports and wellness”, and achieved remarkable development results. The “Implementation Plan for the Establishment of High-level Tourist Attractions in Yiyang during the 14th Five-Year Plan” was issued, and each district, county (county-level city) formulated “one policy for one tourist attraction”.
Shanxiang Jubian Qingxi Scenic Area in Yiyang High-tech Zone has accelerated the pace of building a national 5A scenic area. Lingjiaocha Village in Heshan District was rated as a national key village of rural tourism. Malu Town in Anhua County was rated as a key town of rural tourism in Hunan Province. Yuntaishan Village in Anhua County, Kongtong Village in Taojiang County, Kuixing Village in Heshan District and Dongsheng Village in Nanxian County were also rated as the key villages of rural tourism in Hunan Province. Anhua Dark Tea Culture Tourist Resort was awarded the title of the “Provincial Tourist Resort”.
Daomeng Rural Agricultural Tourism Base and Guangliyuan Ecological Farm in Nanxian County, and Anhua Leisure Field Farm were rated as five-star rural tourist attractions. Yuntai Mountain Study Tour Demonstration Base in Anhua County was selected as a Provincial Study Tour Demonstration Base. Situ & Fenghuang Island Tourist Homestay Inn in Anhua County was rated as a five-star tourist homestay inn, and Dahan Hotel in Taojiang County was proposed to be rated as a four-star tourist hotel.
