The 14th Dawei Mountain Fruit Culture and Tourism Festival opens

Since 2010, Dawei Mountain has hosted the fruit festival for fourteen consecutive years. the festival has fully showcased the remarkable achievements of high-quality industrial development in the Dawei Mountain. It aims to guide the mutual promotion and deep integration of the fruit industry and tourism industry.
This year’s Fruit Culture and Tourism Festival will also include a series of sub-events such as the Summer Retreat Festival, Camping Festival, Creek Trekking Festival, Homestay Festival, and Baisha Tofu Festival to be held from July to August in succession. Through these events, resource sharing and brand empowerment will be achieved.
“In recent years, with the high attention and active guidance from the Liuyang government, as well as the strong support from tourists and consumers, the fruit industry in the Dawei Mountain has experienced rapid development. In 2022, the total fruit production exceeded 5 million kilograms , with an output value exceeding 120 million yuan,” said He Yunpeng, Secretary of the Daweishan Town Party Committee.
He further expressed that they will continue to focus on the cultural and tourism industry centered around Dawei Mountain fruits, fully integrating characteristic festivals. Efforts will be made to build multiple tourism forms such as high-quality fruits, specialty cuisine, creek trekking, and summer homestays, thereby accelerating the construction of Dawei Mountain as a well-known modern all-for-one tourism town.
