3rd Hunan Han-style Collective Wedding Ceremony held
2023-12-06

At the wedding venue, the performers of the Shang Dynasty Nao Ancient Orchestra wearing Hanfu played ancient music like “Welcome Song” with ancient bronze instruments. The performance featured songs, music, dances, and recitation, presenting a beautiful and classical scene.
The patterns of the wedding dress are derived from the classic embroidery patterns unearthed from the Mawangdui Han Dynasty tombs, with a typical style of Han Dynasty, symbolizing harmony and happiness.

In addition to the wedding attire and decorations, the wedding props were also prepared according to ancient customs, such as tables, copper pots, and Han-style plates.
And the music played on site belongs to the Shang Dynasty’s ancient music unearthed in Tanheli Site, Ningxiang, Hunan.
“This is a collective wedding based on traditional wedding customs to showcase the beauty of rituals, traditional attire, and ancient music. We hope that more people can experience the charm of tradition and understand the responsibility of marriage,” said Du Yushan, a planner of this event, adding that the wedding spreads a civilized concept of love and marriage, and inherits traditional culture.
