‘The Wavy Water’ selected as national excellent drama

The drama is adapted from Chinese writer Yan Zhen’s novel “Wavy Water”. It depicts the times when intellectuals grew up in the course of reform and opening up, interprets the essence of traditional Chinese culture with the stories of unimportant persons, showcases the impact of reform and opening up on the minds of intellectuals from another perspective, and eulogizes the great achievements of reform and opening up.
The drama has been selected as a project funded by the China National Arts Fund for three times, and won the Cao Yu Script Nomination Award. Since its premiere in 2018, it has been performed more than 40 times in Changsha, Beijing, Shenzhen and other places, receiving warm responses.
