Tongguan Kiln Cultural Tourism Resort shortlisted for national tourism resorts

The Changsha Tongguan Kiln Cultural Tourism Resort is located in Tongguan Subdistrict of Wangcheng District, surrounded by green mountains and clear water. The resort consists of Tongguan Kiln National Archaeological Site Park, Tongguan Kiln Guofeng Park, Tongguan Old Street, Tongguan Kiln Modern Agriculture Park, and Tongguan Kiln No. 5 Valley, with a total investment of 20 billion yuan.
Relying on the Tongguan Kiln National Archaeological Site Park, the resort is themed around “Tang Dynasty Colored Pottery Culture”. It has launched nearly 300 tourism and vacation products of 13 types, including accommodation, catering, shopping, culture, night tourism, performing arts, science popularization and education, sightseeing, exhibition and festival events, parent-child activities, amusement experience, sports, and wellness. It is a cultural tourism resort that integrates cultural experience, leisure vacation, education, themed amusement, and sightseeing.
In recent years, Tongguan Kiln Guofeng Park has become increasingly popular, and often ranks among the top 10 popular scenic areas on online travel platforms during holidays. During this year’s May Day holiday, the scenic area received over 82,000 tourists, with a visitor flow of 27,235 on the first day, setting a new historical high for the same period.
As of now, there have been three national tourism resorts in Hunan, namely, Huitang Hot Spring Tourism Resort in Ningxiang City, Liuye Lake Tourism Resort in Changde City, and Dongting Lake Tourism Resort in Yueyang City.
