Changsha adds 5 new provincial-level nighttime consumption demonstration clusters

CSCEC Meilanfang Commercial Street opened in 2014, with a business area of 24,000 square meters. More than 80 merchants start their businesses here. There are fashionable restaurants, boutique retail stores, trendy bars, cultural and creative stores, and living facilities here. More than 90% of stores open at night, with an annual visitor flow exceeding 10 million.
Taiping Street has been open to the public for more than ten years, with a business area of over 40,000 square meters. There are 411 stores in the street, involving various business formats such as cultural experience, catering and shopping, leisure and entertainment, cultural and sports, and festival activities. 98% of stores operate at night. The street receives nearly 100,000 tourists per day.
Yangfan Night Market is 1,050 meters long, with 357 stalls, involving shopping, catering, culture and sports, and leisure and entertainment. All of them operate at night. In 2023, it achieved green and safe operation.
Sifang Trade Mall Night Market covers a business area of nearly 70,000 square meters. There are 503 stores, and more than 300 mobile vendors. It is a comprehensive market that integrates commerce, catering, and night markets, and is also the largest Internet-famous market in the north of Changsha. 75% of stores and projects operate at night, with an average daily visitor flow of nearly 30,000.
Songya Lake Wuyue Plaza opened in 2018, with a total construction area of 180,000 square meters. There are 437 stores, involving various business formats such as night food, night shopping, night entertainment, night tourism, night fitness, and night exhibitions, with all in operation at night. The plaza receives over 15 million customers annually.
As of now, there have been a total of 14 provincial-level nighttime consumption demonstration clusters in Changsha, including the first batch of nighttime consumption demonstration clusters announced last August 9, namely, South Huangxing Road Pedestrian Commercial Street, Changsha IFS, Beichen Delta A1D1 Binjiang Area, SASSEUR Outlets Commercial Complex, Bailian Outlets Plaza, Fisherman’s Wharf Commercial Square, Taskin City Plaza, Junyue Business District, and Jiulongcang Times Outlets.
