Zhangjiajie receives over 20 million tourists in H1

In the first half of this year, Zhangjiajie City received a total of 19.7332 million domestic tourists, a year-on-year increase of 5.21%, and domestic tourism revenue was 27.108 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.22%.

Since the beginning of this year, Zhangjiajie City has continuously optimized its entry customs clearance measures and improved its service level. The inbound tourism market has experienced explosive growth, with foreign tourists flocking to Zhangjiajie, making it a hot topic.
In the first half of this year, 911,530 inbound tourists were received, ranking first in the province, with a year-on-year increase of 569.17%. The inbound tourism revenue reached 247.031 million US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 673.55%.
The top 5 inbound tourist source markets in terms of reception volume were South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.
According to data from Ctrip platform, from January to June, Zhangjiajie accounted for the highest proportion among cities in seven provinces in South China in terms of room nights.
