2024 Hunan Province (Autumn) Rural Cultural Tourism Festival kicks off

The Good Goods Festival was launched at the Southern China Grape Gully Square at 9 am, and brier grapes had a commanding lead in sales in the livestreaming session. Besides, the national-style Music Wine Party was opened at 6 pm, making tourists intoxicated.
At 8 pm, the opening ceremony of the rural cultural tourism festival was held. various characteristic programs such as “Beauty of Zhongfang”, “Dry Loong Boat”, and “Grape Girls” were staged in turns, allowing tourists to enjoy the original rural scenery.
In addition, there were seven series of events, including the Rural Treasure Gathering, the Music Wine Party, the Symposium on Cultural Relic Protection, Inheritance and Utilization, and the Integrated Development of Cultural Tourism Industry, and the Zhongfang Village Chef Competition, aiming to connect the food and cultural heritage of Zhongfang County, and showcase its achievements of rural tourism development.
Zhongfang County has a history of over 400 years of bier grape cultivation. There are currently 52,000 mu (about 3466.67 hectares) of such grapes, and the “Xiangzhenzhu” bier grape has become a national geographical indication protection product.
In recent years, Zhongfang County has built tourist attractions such as “Grape Sea”, Century-old Vine, and Fengshui Forest of Yanquan Mountain. The Southern China Grape Gully Scenic Area has become a tourist destination that integrates grape picking, wine making and tasting, and sightseeing. The county received 1.052 million tourists and achieved a comprehensive tourism revenue of 944 million yuan from January to June this year.
