Hengdong County launches cultural tourism activities to celebrate National Day holiday

A dinner party was held to showcase filial piety for the aged on the evening of October 7, attracting 20 teachers and students from the International College of University of South China to sample the Hengdong cuisine.
The night market of Wanshang Fortune Plaza in the county was bustling with crowds and the night economy was booming. The reasonably priced delicacies like hot and spicy skewers, freshly fried and eaten steaks, delicious seafood congee, and crisp Indian flying cakes could greatly satiate tourists’ appetite.
During the National Day holiday, camping became a way for tourists to relax. Mishui River Camping Base, Fengye Camping Base, and Dabu Liuxing Aviation Camping Base became the first choices for young tourists.
Hengdong launched a one-day tour guide by integrating tourism, accommodation, and food resources throughout the county during the National Day holiday. Luo Ronghuan’s Hometown Scenic Area provided tourists with comfortable and convenient services. Huaqili Scenic Area, Mijiang Ecological Park, and Dabu Liuxing Aviation Camping Base offered discount tickets. Xuda Health Industrial Park launched the “Xuda Parent-child Park” and “Jurassic Dinosaurs plus Face Changing plus Fire Pot Performance plus Clown Carnival” series of activities, enriching tourists’ travel experiences.
In addition, Hengdong County also carried out rich cultural activities to benefit the people. A square dance performance was held to celebrate the National Day. The Hengdong County Flower-drum Opera Troupe staged the opera plays in Xintang Town. Ronghuan Library rolled out various reading activities like the second “Reading Journey” Challenge and the Online Book Fair, enriching the cultural life of the public during the holiday.
