The project, with tigers as its core theme, aims to develop into the world’s largest tiger breeding base and a 5A-level cultural and tourism complex.
The project integrates six functions including forest research, wellness vacation, blessing tour and sports exploration, with 186 sub projects.
Here, tourists can not only see the tigers up close, but also experience diverse lifestyles such as leisure, wellness, and academic research here.
Zhu Yugang, the founder of China Tiger Mountain, said that as an important part of the Nanyue Hengshan Mountain tourism economic circle, it’s a 10-minute, 15-minute, 20-minute and 30-minute drive to Nanyue Temple, Hengshan West Railway Station, urban areas of Hengyang City and Hengyang Nanyue Airport respectively.
The Xuanzhou Interchange and connecting line added to the S51 Nanyue Expressway provide direct access to the avenue of the scenic area, and direct self-drive routes within Hunan Province, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Jiangxi, and other areas.
“The one- or two-hour self-drive circle and high-speed rail circle radiate to nearly 50 million and 350 million people, and Nanyue Airport covers a wider population range. These transportation advantages make Tiger Mountain convenient to receive tourists from all over the country,” said Zhu Yugang.
According to the plan, a comprehensive tiger species breeding base will be built in China Tiger Mountain, such as Northeast tigers, South China tigers, and Bengal tigers, to meet the needs of tourists to visit tigers in Baihu Gorge.
The Baihu Gorge will provide tourists with a comprehensive and all-angle viewing experience.
