Kaifu District to increase over 4,000 seats in schools

According to the meeting on the deployment of education work in spring semester held by the Education Bureau of Kaifu District recently, over 4,000 seats will be added and 5 new schools like Xinzhu No. 2 Primary School will be established or expanded. Efforts will be made by the district to accelerate the construction of a high-quality education system and contribute to the further development of Changsha City.

It was learned from the meeting that Kaifu District will insist on quality and balanced education, expand the supply of school places in the district, complete the construction of two new schools such as Guangrun Primary School, add over 4,000 seats, and start the construction and expansion of five new schools like Xinzhu No. 2 Primary School.

The district will also plan to invest about 35 million yuan to improve the quality and upgrade the construction of primary and secondary schools, in a bid to strengthen its education brands by running schools in groups and cooperating with schools, and to promote the development with quality and balanced education resources.
