Wanfo Mountain National Geopark

Located in Tongdao County, Huaihua City of Hunan Province, the Wanfo Mountain National Geopark is dominated by Danxia landform and boasts various functions such as geological relic protection, scientific research, popular science education, tourism and leisure vacation. The Danxia peaks, Danxia red cliffs and weathered caves are dotted in the park, making the park a textbook of the history of earth evolution since the Cretaceous Period in Southeastern China.
