Huangjia Lake National Wetland Park

There are many islands and lakes in the park, forming a composite wetland ecosystem consisting of lakes, marshes, flood plain wetlands and constructed wetlands, with typical characteristics of the Dongting Lake wetland. The park is home to seven national second-class protected animals , one national first-class protected plant and four second-class protected plants such as trapa incisa and myriophyllum ussuriense.

Fengduilun Revolutionary Site, located in Nanfeng Village, Changchun Town, Ziyang District, Yiyang City, is a cultural relic unit under prefecture-level protection.
Built in 1922, the site was originally the ancestral hall of the Liao Family and later became a base of communists to carry out underground revolutionary activities in early times. In 1938, a school was founded here and it then turned into an important contact point for the CPC Changde and Yiyang Central County Committee, where revolutionary pioneers such as Gao Wenhua, Shuai Mengqi and Liao Lianshan promoted the movement of resistance against Japan.
