Egret Tower
Designed by Lu Bingjie, a famous ancient architect in China, Egret Tower is 49.99 meters in height, which features the bell and drum towers of the Dong and Miao ethnic groups in Xiangxi. The tower has seven floors, of which every floor owns eight angles and a double-eave roof, highlighting the traditional architectural characteristics of Hunan.

As the landscape center and landmark of the whole wetland, the tower also acts as an observation tower to see the whole wetland park and even the Yanghu spots, where tourists are able to have a panoramic view of the Xiangjiang River, the Jinjiang River, the Yahe River and other important attractions in the park.
Yanghu Huandong World

Yanghu Huandong World is located in the second phase of Yanghu Wetland project. The Ferris wheel enables tourists to enjoy a bird’s-eye-view of the whole park. It is equipped with over 20 entertainment projects such as sledge hammers, small trains and pirate ships, where children can feel a surge of excitement and appreciate unique scenery in leisure and interaction.
Lotus-watching Pavilion

Situated near the south gate of Yanghu Wetland Park, Lotus-watching Pavilion is a wooden platform. When summer comes, the pavilion is surrounded by numerous lotus flowers. As light summer breeze blows, the distinctive fragrance of lotus flowers will permeate the pavilion while egrets are flying on the water surface. What picturesque scenery!
Sports Park

The third phase of Sports Park project covers an area of about 170 mu (about 11.3 hectares), which is planned to construct a multifunctional sports park for public fitness. Covering an area of 115 mu (about 7.6 hectares), the first phase of Sports Park project has been opened to the public since the National Day holiday in 2017, which mainly focuses on football activities with 10 quality football stadiums. The second phase of the project will contain a variety of popular sports activities including swimming, diving and surfing.
Sea of Flowers

Sea of Flowers covers a planning area of 50 hectares, where various flowers are planted in accordance with seasonal changes, forming beautiful and pleasant scenery.
International Sculpture Park

Yanghu Wetland Science Museum

Designed by an international postmodernism master called Arata Isozaki and the creative team of London Olympics, Yanghu Wetland Science Museum is constructed by China Central Academy of Fine Arts. With the construction concept of integrating passive energy-saving technology with whole decoration, the museum is constructed with natural and green materials and applies such systems as fully-covered green plant ecosystem, water cycle and purification system of wetland and natural air conduction system. With an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters, the museum is installed with no air conditioner, which can cut electricity consumption by 21,000 kilowatt hours and reduce carbon dioxide emission by 20.9 tons each year.
Earth Warehouse

Located in the second phase of Yanghu Wetland project, the Earth Warehouse opened in June 2018. It is the first mobile sustainable residential complex of urban wetland park in China, which is constructed by Changsha Earth House Technology Co., Ltd. With 30 intelligent ecological huts scattered on the waterfront of the wetland, the complex is built with the concept of coexistence, communion and sharing and aims to advocate that architecture buildings should be integrated into nature without destroying the original appearance of vegetation and landscape.
Wind and Rain Bridge

Wind and Rain Bridge in Yanghu Wetland Park adopts modern style, which is simple, spacious and unique. It is constructed for tourists to rest, appreciate beautiful scenery of the park and shelter from the rain. With open water surface on both sides of its gallery, the bridge boasts a large number of wetland plants and wetland birds, such as egrets and swans. There are stakes exclusively for birds to rest.
