Paiya Mountain Forest Park
The metasequoia trees in the Paiya Mountain Forest Park in Jingzhou are about to ripen this year. In summer, this forest park is a large oxygen generator. And in autumn, the red canopies light up the whole scenic area. Tourists can commune with nature in the metasequoia forest, rock scenery and Longtan Scenic Area.
Routes
Changsha direction: through Shanghai-Kunming Expressway and Baotou-Maoming Expressway. Tourists can drive from Baotou-Maoming Expressway onto Jingzhou Bypass Highway for 1.5 kilometers, then along S222 to the Paiya Mountain. The journey takes about 6 hours.
Huaihua, Shaoyang direction: through Baotou-Maoming Expressway and S222. Tourists can drive from Huaihua City Ring Expressway onto Baotou-Maoming Expressway, then onto Jingzhou City Ring Expressway for 1.5 kilometers, and along S222 to the Paiya Mountain. It is a 1.5-hour drive.
Ginkgo Village in Tongziao, Yongzhou
Ginkgo Village was a pristine village, being dreamy and romantic every year in early November because of the yellowing ginkgo tree forest in the village. The scenery here was first discovered by a photographer, then it gains in popularity. Annual ginkgo season always attracts a stream of photographers and visitors.

Changsha direction: through Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, Shanghai-Ruili Expressway, Yueyang-Linwu Expressway, Quanzhou-Nanning Expressway and Erlianhaote-Guangzhou Expressway, and getting off at the Yangming Mountain Exit. Drive along Yongzhou-Lianzhou Highway to Ningyuan direction for about two kilometers at the roadside sign "Ginkgo Village", and then continue driving for two kilometers to reach it. The journey will take 4 hours.
Hengyang direction: through Quanzhou-Nanning Expressway and Erlianhaote-Guangzhou Expressway, getting off at the Yangming Mountain Exit. Drive along Yongzhou-Lianzhou Highway to Ningyuan direction for about two kilometers at the roadside sign “ Ginkgo Village “, and then drive for two kilometers to reach it. The drive will take 5 hours.
Huaihua, Shaoyang direction: through Erlianhaote-Guangzhou Expressway and getting off at Yangmingshan Exit. Drive along Yongzhou-Lianzhou Highway to Ningyuan direction for about two kilometers at the roadside sign “Ginkgo Village”, and then drive for two kilometers to arrive. It is a 2-hour drive.
Dongting Lake, Yueyang
The white scenery on the shores of the Dongting Lake could not be purer. The reeds are very dense, but breeze can gently brush them down. Although the reeds are so soft, they are tall enough to be 2 or 3 meters high, so people would be "drowned" in them at once. If you are not careful, you would get lost in the reeds. You and your companions would have to shout to find your bearings.

West Dongting, from Hengyang to Hanshou (Xuchang-Guangzhou Expressway, Guangzhou-Zhangjiajie Expressway).
Colorful Valley, Xiacun Township, Yanling, Zhuzhou
The 10-kilometer Colorful Valley shows its unique charm in autumn. The different species of trees in the valley begin to change color, with turquoise, gold, orange, red, fire red complementing each other.

Hengyang direction: through Nanyue Expressway, Hengyang-Shaoyang Expressway, Quanzhou-Nanning Expressway, Wuhan-Shenzhen Expressway. The whole journey takes around 2 hours.
Huaihua, Shaoyang direction: Huaihua City Ring Expressway, Baotou-Maoming Expressway, Zhutian Hub, Shanghai-Kunshan Expressway, Hengyang-Shaoyang Expressway, Quanzhou-Nanning Expressway, Wuhan-Shenzhen Expressway. The whole journey takes approximately 6 hours.
