The Dongjiang Lake Scenic Area is a national 5A-level tourist attraction, with a surface area of 160 square kilometers. There are many scenic spots like Mist-enveloped Dongjiang Lake, Dongjiang Dam, Longjing Canyon, Doushuailing Rock, Dongjiang Lake Rafting, and Dongjiang Lake Cultural Tourism Street.
The Huilong Mountain Scenic Area is located in Huilongshan Yao Township of Zixing City, with an altitude of 1,480 meters. It has over 2,000 years of religious historical culture and Yao ethnic customs.
The scenery here is picturesque all year round. Visitors can admire a sea of azaleas in spring, enjoy the coolness in summer, experience the sunrise and a sea of clouds in autumn, and view the rime and snow scenery in winter.

The Zhou’s Family Compound where descendants of Zhou Dunyi, a Neo-Confucian philosopher from the Song Dynasty once lived, with a history of nearly 600 years, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a famous historical and cultural village. It’s also renowned as the “First Ancient Residence in Hunan”.
Composed of six courtyards from the periods of the Ming, Qing, and Republic of China, it’s distributed in the shape of the Big Dipper constellation, and each courtyard has its own architectural characteristics.
The Dongshan Mountain Scenic Area is a national 4A-level tourist attraction, covering an area of approximately 1.9 square kilometers.
There is a historical and cultural area, a calligraphy and art area, and an ecological sightseeing area. and more than 100 national, provincial, and municipal cultural relics protection units.
The scenic area reproduces the splendid history and culture of Lingling and contributes to the improvement of the urban quality of Lingling.
