The radishes are large and uniform in size, as well as sweet and juicy in taste. They are pickled with a combination of traditional methods and modern techniques and served with home-made spicy oil.
The taste is excellent, with a balance of sourness, sweetness, crispness, and spiciness. It can stimulate appetite and promote digestion, making it a signature snack in Chenxi.
In 2009, it was listed as a representative project of the second batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage by the Huaihua Municipal People’s Government.
