Celebrating the Girls’ Day in Suining County

The photos taken on May 26, the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, show villagers presenting performances to welcome the married girls back to their parents’ homes in Huayuange Village, Guanxia Miao Township, Suining County, Shaoyang City.

On that day, the Miao people in the county and tourists from other places ate Umi Rice, sang folk songs, and performed bamboo dragon dances to celebrate the traditional Girls’ Day.
