Beautiful Luokou Ancient Town

In the eighth year of the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, the county seat was established in Luokou. At that time, it was the political, economic, and cultural center of Xiangtan County, as well as a distribution center and transfer station for rice and wood.
At present, Zhengtai Wharf, Xiao Family’s Ancestral Hall, the granite-paved street and wooden stilted buildings with ancient folk architectural cultural elements are well-preserved.
