300 mu (20 hectares) of hydrangeas bloom in the Sacred Phoenix Cultural Scenic Area of Nanhua Mountain from May to October each year. Dozens of gradient colored hydrangeas, swaying in the gentle breeze, captivate visitors.
The Nanhua Mountain Sacred Phoenix Cultural Scenic Area is a national 4A-level tourist attraction in Fenghuang Ancient Town, with the theme of Chinese Phoenix culture, and especially famous for ancient buildings and scenes featuring Phoenix cultural elements in pavilions, corridors, bridges, and towers.
In recent years, the scenic area has created tourism projects such as “tree houses” and “bird nests” according to the diversified tourism consumption needs of tourists to promote its development.
