The water surface area of the Goose Well is approximately one mu (about 0.067 hectares), with an annual water output of 18.81 million cubic meters, equivalent to that of a medium-sized reservoir.
Its water flows continuously throughout the year, irrigating 50,000 mu (about 3,333.33 hectares) of surrounding farmland.
In recent years, Shiyang Town has actively implemented the concept that “green waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets,” and vigorously promoted river governance, in a bid to create a beautiful scene of clear rivers, enchanting landscapes and well-off people.
