Yueyang China Giant Panda Garden opens

The giant panda is known as a “national treasure” in China. It’s a flagship species for global biodiversity conservation. There are now only about 1,864 pandas living in the wild. The giant panda’s distinctive black-and-white fur contributes to its popularity as one of the world’s favorite animals.
Yueyang China Giant Panda Garden is committed to creating a unique oriental themed exhibition and demonstration area for giant pandas, exploring a fashionable model for harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

It covers an area of about 367 mu (about 24.47 hectares) and houses 10 giant pandas. The cute appearance of pandas has enhanced the reputation of ecological tourism of Yueyang.
