Sea of clouds float around Huangshizhai

The pictures taken on May 17 show the spectacular sea of clouds at Huangshizhai of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The clouds and mist keep surging, overflowing from the towering stone peaks. Amidst the fluttering clouds and mist, Wuling pines stand on the mountaintops. The sunlight penetrates through the clouds and sprinkles onto the valley, where the unique stone peaks of Zhangjiajie stand proudly.





“We came here once during our summer vacation in 1987. The sun filtering through sea of clouds presents a spectacular view. It is worth a visit again,” said Mr. and Mrs. Wan from Shenzhen.
Due to the mild climate and increasing rainfall, the spectacular view of sea of clouds will appear frequently in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
