Yanling greets first snow

Affected by the strong cold air, the Cloud on the Courtyard Scenic Area in Yanling County greeted the first snow on December 1 this year. The scenic area wrapped in the flying snowflakes was dazzlingly beautiful. The mountains, rivers and trees created an enchanting snowy view.

Located in the southeast border of Yanling County of Zhuzhou City and the middle of the Luoxiao Mountains, the Cloud on the Courtyard is at 760 meters to 1,880 meters above sea level, covering a total area of 88.93 square kilometers. 96.6% of the scenic area is covered with forests, with an annual average temperature of 12.6 degree Celsius, and a maximum temperature of no more than 29 degree Celsius. It’s known as the “Little Lushan Mountain”.
