Xian’e Lake in Yanling County

In midsummer, Ziyuan Village in Yanling County of Zhuzhou City is an excellent summer resort with lush vegetation, towering trees and gurgling streams, where people are simple and hardworking, and still lead a free life in spite of traffic inconvenience.
There is a lake at the mountain top between Ziyuan Village and Leixian, which is called “Xian’e Lake” by the local people. It is 873 meters above the sea level, with an area of approximately 1,000 square meters. The lake is not dry all year round, and due to its superior ecological environment, wild animals often come here to drink water. It’s also in a migration route for migratory birds, and migratory birds such as geese and swans often rest here and set sail again.
