Hunan Opera Performance kicks off

The Hunan Opera Public Welfare Performance kicked off at the Changsha Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall on March 5 and will last until March 10. Nearly 20 classic Hunan operas will be staged.



A stage has been set up for intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and performances in the Changsha Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall. Since its opening in November 2018, there have been over 1,000 performances staged here, including Hunan Opera, Changsha Tanci, Changsha Huagu Opera, Changsha Kuaiban, cross-talk, and folk music ensemble. Meanwhile, intangible cultural heritage elements have been integrated into modern art, allowing citizens and tourists to enjoy intangible cultural heritage programs for free.
