‘The Peach Colony’ to be staged for International Women’s Day

Female viewers can watch the performance for only 88.8 yuan per person from March 8 to 10. Tourists can get a free ticket for the performance if they can recite the full text of “The Peach Colony”. The first 999 women who purchase tickets can receive a rose as a gift with their tickets.
“Based on the masterpiece ‘The Peach Colony’ written by Tao Yuanming, a famous poet of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the first original ecological river theater in the world has been created on the Qinxi River. Viewers take a fishing boat to immerse themselves in the picturesque landscapes and recall the pastoral dream,” said a worker of Scenery Culture.
“The Peach Colony”, directed by Mei Shuaiyuan, who is a creator of China’s landscape live-action show and the chairman of Scenery Culture, will provide viewers with an immersive experience that will never be forgotten through a 4.6-kilometer river theater, 18 stunning scenes, and falling peach blossoms.
