A handmade steelyard has to go through more than 100 processes to be a perfect one, including the material selection, blank making, rounding, copper sleeve, sliding weight fitting, hook fitting, grading, drilling, polishing, proofing and other procedures. Kernel carving is a folk miniature carving process in China. Peach kernels, apricot kernels, olive kernels and other fruit kernels can be carved into handicrafts. These ICH projects will be displayed from March 4 to March 5 on the second floor of Changsha Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition Hall.
