Changsha Riverside Cultural Park to be sub-venue of 2024 Spring Festival Gala
2024-01-08

Changsha Riverside Cultural Park is located in the Xinhe Delta of Kaifu District in Changsha City, bordered by the Xiangjiang River to the west and the Liuyang River to the north. The park has an architectural complex including Changsha Museum, Changsha Planning Exhibition Hall, Changsha Library, and Changsha Concert Hall.
The architectural complex symbolizes the spirit of Hunan people who bravely move forward, face difficulties, and strive for self-improvement. With majestic appearance, it is a cultural landmark of Changsha.
It is the first time to set up a sub-venue for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in Changsha since the performance mode of “a main venue in Beijing and sub-venues in other places of China” was established in 1988.
According to the tradition of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala sub-venues in previous years, in addition to hosts of CCTV who will appear in the sub-venues, programs with clever conception and meaningful content will also be a major highlight of the sub-venues.
