2024 Hunan (Winter) Rural Cultural Tourism Festival to be held in Chenzhou

It aims to enhance the image and brand of rural tourism in Hunan, promote excellent products of rural tourism in Hunan, and advance the high-quality development of rural tourism in the province.
It will consist of 2 major theme activities, namely, the opening ceremony and the first Rucheng International Hot Spring Wellness Industry Development Exchange Conference.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held on the evening of December 20 at the Hot Spring Square in Reshui Town of Rucheng County. It will showcase rich hot spring resources, profound cultural heritage, and unique tourism charm in Rucheng.
The first Rucheng International Hot Spring Wellness Industry Development Exchange Conference will be held on December 21 in Fuquan Tanggu of Reshui Town. Related experts, scholars, and business representatives will be invited to explore the cutting-edge theories, innovative practices, and development trends of the hot spring wellness industry, to empower the development of Rucheng’s hot spring wellness industry.
In addition, there will be five series of activities, including the observation and inspection of key cultural and tourism projects in Rucheng, the investment promotion conference for Rucheng’s cultural and tourism industry, the Rucheng Burning Incense Dragon Dance Performance, the 36th Cultural and Artistic Performance of border areas in Hunan, Guangdong, and Jiangxi, and the Rural Happy Run.
Chenzhou is one of the 18 Hot Spring Cities in China, with more than 60 underground hot springs, such as Reshui Hot Spring of Rucheng County, Shimu Hot Spring of Suxian District, Longnyu Hot Spring of Beihu District, Mangshan Forest Hot Spring, Yuzhong Hot Spring of Jiahe County, Tangxi Hot Spring of Zixing City, and Yuyue Hot Spring of Guidong County. The hot spring wellness tourism industry has become an important pole in the development of Chenzhou’s cultural and tourism.
