Hunan receives 572 mln tourists in first three quarters

In the first three quarters of this year, Hunan province received 572 million tourists and achieved a total tourism revenue of over 846 billion yuan, an increase of 10.82% and 9.47% year on year respectively. Among them, 2.185 million inbound tourist trips were made, an increase of 2.77 times year on year.

It is expected to receive 700 million tourists this year, and the total tourism revenue will exceed 1 trillion yuan.

The rich tourism products have attracted various groups of tourists. This year, the province has launched a large number of tourism products, routes, and destinations that meet the needs of overseas tourists, such as Zhangjiajie and Chenzhou’s rare hot springs.

In the first three quarters, Zhangjiajie received 1.2943 million inbound tourists, a year-on-year increase of 255%, with tourists from 183 countries and regions.
