The Aizhai Traffic Police Detachment of Jishou Traffic Division have stuck to their posts on Aizhai twisting mountain road round the clock. They directed the traffic on the “command platform” built with two wooden boards and set a record of no serious traffic accident for 18 years.
In 2020, Jishou City strove to develop Aizhai Wonders Scenic Area into a national 5A tourist attraction and the backbone of the tourism industry in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Today, the spectacular Aizhai twisting mountain road is frequented by numerous tourists.
