The center, with an area of nearly 400 square meters, includes a cultural and sample exhibition area, a resident artist work area, and an industrial integration innovation area, and 400 ceramic works are displayed.
There is also a skills training area at the event site, where tourists can learn traditional techniques from craftsmen and experience the fun of porcelain making and firing.
The ancient Hengzhou kiln site is mainly located in Chashan’ao Town and Dongyangdu Subdistrict in Zhuhui District, with a distribution range of more than 10 kilometers along both sides of the Xiangjiang River. Dating back to the late Tang Dynasty, the Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty, it has a large scale and rich cultural relics, with far-reaching influence, and is one of the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

There are 21 existing kilns in Chashan’ao Town, mainly distributed in Huangtian Village, Dachang Village, and Jinjia Community. The kiln mouth is mainly used for firing celadon with main glaze colors of green, blue yellow, and bean green. The decorative patterns include lotus petals, lotus flowers, peonies, chrysanthemums, and straight lines. The main types of porcelain ware are jars, bottles, pots, furnaces, bowls, and cups.
On the day, a symposium on Hengzhou Kiln culture was also held, where experts presented their opinions and suggestions on the historical status, the protection and development plan, skill inheritance, and integration of Hengzhou Kiln culture and tourism.
